Botometer "checks the activity of a Twitter account and gives it a score based on how likely the account is to be a bot. Higher scores are more bot-like." If an account scores in the red, it is very likely to be a bot.

Two of the eleven Twitter users that had their answers addressed by
@elonmusk are in deep red territory, scoring 4.4/5 and 4.5/5.pic.twitter.com/JPAZUuKVyFShow this thread -
These two were front-loaded, and amongst the few questions of material significance posed during the investor meeting, broaching two critical questions facing
$TSLA: what is the status of the Gigafactory, & what is the guidance on$TSLA's production?pic.twitter.com/bLZZPGBgyqShow this thread -
Front-loaded to the beginning of Q&A, the Giga Q set Elon Musk up beautifully, enabling him to acknowledge a serious problems only then to drop hype-bombs: Gigafactory in Nevada won't be complete for 4-5 years (!!), but China and Europe Gigafactory announcements are immanent.

But the other question forced
@elonmusk to address manufacturing problems having to do with over-automation. Other than summoning JB Straubel to highlight their battery pack cost targets, Elon had no good news to assuage concerns about Model 3.Show this thread -
So, did Elon use dummy Twitter accounts to serve up questions that he needed to address for investors that, losing patience, are concerned about what's actually going on with Tesla's manufacturing? Would he use bots to stage how he wants to frame the story?

Let's just say that Elon knows Twitter bots quite well. His account enjoys amongst the most bot followers on Twitter. And his margin loan's gotta be spent on something, right?pic.twitter.com/X0q0QbxdW0

To sum it up, Elon spins his webs by using others - whether it's Youtube fanboys, sycophantic analysts on the sell-side, or dummy Twitter accounts. The theatre is becoming less and less effective, and his promises less and less lustrous.

Says the twitter account who just posts crap about Tesla
-
nice job conflating the issue of deceiving investors with a small personal grievance you can solve using the 'mute' button.
-
who cares. If a question is a good question it should be answered. Just because a question is popular doesn't make it a good question.

But that can't be true, He is the arbiter of Twitter quality and has instructed followers how to hunt down the evil bots. You suggest He is a hypocrite? Blasphemy! Sacrilige . Burn heathen!pic.twitter.com/gcRfV4sDvM

I think it's reasonable to assume anyone that would use bots to control a shareholder mtg, would likewise use bots to control next day's opening tape.
