    Calling Turkish trained jihadists “Efrin police” is to normalize the occupation of Afrin. There is nothing “Efrin” about these police. They are trained by Turkey. They are not from Efrin. They are not there to uphold the law of Afrin people, but to subdue them to foreign laws.

    1/ Pro-Turkse rebellen die eerder dit jaar Afrin veroverden op linkse Koerden roepen vrouwen in Afrin op om volledig gesluierd te gaan. Toen ik Afrin bezocht tijdens Koerdisch bestuur was dat juist de plek waar vrouwen vrij waren om wel/geen hoofddoek te dragen. Wat 'n verschil!
