  2. The issue of protection for Israel's allies in the south is being negotiated [with Russia]. The IDF previously examined the option of not opposing regime return to the south & ruled it out in part due to fear of massacres against Israel's collaborators.

This immediately puts the King of Jordan right ahead of Husni Mubarak. Syrians, Libyans and others used to say that Husni was an angel because his forces killed less than 1000 people during the 2011 protests.

Wanna know how bad of a world we live in? The talk of 22 Arabic countries today is how Jordanians are on their 5th day of mass protests and NONE of them got killed. That's how low the standard is here.

And another one: The US ambassador to Israel accuses journalists of bias in their coverage of Gaza protests and tells them to "keep your mouths shut."

1st hard proof of widespread falsification in what Putin called the "cleanest election in Russian history": counted heads on vid at 50 polling stations & found 31,000 (!) votes were falsified. Gogol's Dead Souls come to life.

listening to directions on how to deal with protestors: they are all cousins and relatives, we won't harm any of them. We will use limited safe measures only if any body harms public property. Remember, they are all our cousins.

New poll shows dominance of the Right in Israel. If election were held today, Likud would get 34 seats despite Netanyahu's multiple corruption scandals. Right: 51 seats, center: 28, Left: 28; ultra-orthodox: 13 (Heb)

This is very interesting: the ultra-sectarian Wesal TV is stopping its broadcast in all languages barring Arabic. It has Urdu and Farsi channels that served as a platform for virulent, ugly anti-Shia messaging. From this tweet, one can infer lack of funding and support.

3rd consecutive night of protests in . Mobilization mainly socio-economic: new harsh income tax under IMF-designed plan + raise in fuel & electricity prices. Spread from Amman to Irbid, Jarash, Zarqa, & Maan (most cities already rocked by “bread riots” in the 1980s).
