    The Joint List has been dysfunctional for months because of non implementation of a rotation agreement between the parties. 's Taal Partly is refusing to vacate a seat that according to the deal forming the Joint List is now supposed to be held by the Balad Party.

    Due to divisions withing the ironically named "Joint List" representing Israel's Palestinian community, 3 separate protests were held today in northern Israel in solidarity with Gaza by 3 of the constituent parties of the List.

    ההפגנות הערב למען עזה נועדו אמנם להביע הזדהות עם תושבי הרצועה, אבל זה לא הסיפור. חד"ש הפגינו בחיפה בחמש אחה"צ, תע"ל הפגינו בהמשך בואדי עארה ואז הפגנה של בל"ד, שוב בחיפה. הרשימה המשותפת מעולם לא היתה כל כך מפולגת.
