    The Syrian regime's prisons are a vast network of concentration camps, where torture and murder are endemic. Despite the solid evidence, it's unlikely justice will ever be done, certainly not by an international court.

    Awful to see Harry Truman smiling alongside Joseph Stalin at Potsdam (July 1945). On the plus side, unlike FDR, Truman understood Stalin was a monster and that his policies were expansionist, aggressive, and in violation of all prior agreements he had made on liberated zones.
