He may have gotten reference for that pose from your picture. But it doesn't mean he's basing it on Zira. Referencing is something every single artist does. "Likeness". Because Zira is so unique right? And of course, let's not forget, there's no other dog breeds like this. The character doesn't even have half the spots of the dog.... If it's about the photo itself as a piece of work, take legal action.

You're asking if Zira was born before Tacklebox drew mail dog? Mail dog was first drawn a couple months ago. Why do you ask / how is that related? Mail dog isn't based on Zira or related to Zira in any way.

hm, damn It could be argued I guess that he still saw the dog first but I think the simplest conclusion is probably that he made the character, and then traced the pic to make an icon of that character (the way furries are wont to repurpose memes for their fursonas)
