    This article makes the accident numbers look even worse. Hybrids are safer because of extra weight. Teslas are even heavier.

    Why these vehicles have a safety advantage in crashes.

    Here is the current incentives. They charge a grid emissions fee but they work out to be quite good incentives. Australia has NO incentives - literally none - but sells Teslas.
