  1. The timing is a bummer since there's apparently a huge shipment of ~1,200 Tesla vehicles that just arrived in China before the reduction in import duties. That's up to $12 million in potential consumer savings that went to taxes instead.

Bloomberg wasn't sure which headline was more misleading clickbait about Model 3 so they went with both:

Tesla is being such a tease with this new video. Mystery car, potential Model 3 performance dual motor, and just some Roadster porn.

Maybe it's just a big conspiracy like the moon landing. If so, they are putting a lot of efforts into it:

This comment from during the earning calls fell off the radar but it was quite important I think. We are talking about a massive energy storage project probably worth north of $250m. My guess is Australia again, but maybe Colorado.

We had over 8k comments on this week. It's getting insane. It's one of top 200 websites for comments, but top 12k in users. Obviously a very active community. Some comments are better than the articles. We need to build the community up better. Suggestions?

I love that stuff. All-electric catamaran with a 1.8 MWh battery pack that charges from a 2.4 MWh pack built into the dock. It's starting to look like the future, but it's happening now.

. getting pissed at the boring questions from analysts and allowing to take over the questions was the best thing to happen on a Tesla conference call in a long time.

Yet a lot of people like to make it sound like every cent Tesla invests in EV production capacity, hiring, battery production, Superchargers, service, is somehow "burning cash". That sounds stupid to me. Alright. Rant over.

With this said, while the article doesn't really make a case for it, it doesn't mean that there isn't inefficient spending at Tesla. I'm sure there's a lot of it, but I doubt it's anywhere near the majority of the company's spending.

I think that term "burning cash" is being misused a lot. Can you call investing in a massive increase of electric vehicle production capacity "burning cash"? I don't think so. Burning cash should only refer to inefficient spending, which this article doesn't make a case for.
