    Ahmad left behind 5 children. 1 of his sons was injured in the mortar strike that killed his father. Sources in Quneitra tell me: the shelling on Jubatha occurred after Israeli tanks shelled Hezbollah positions in Tulul al-Ahmar, near Jubatha. Regime retaliated against Syrians.

    Lieberman at times makes statements that contradict IDF intel. For example, he claimed that Yaser Murtaja, a Palestinian journalist killed on April 6 during Gaza's protests, operated a filming drone. Except IDF intel shows drones weren't used by Palestinians that day.

    Lieberman keeps warning about a war within the next year, although this doesn't reflect the IDF's intel assessment. Sources tell Haaretz Lieberman wants to cover his ass for future investigative committees in case a war erupts.

    Lieberman is uninformed, lazy and barely noticeable in security-related discussions. As a result, he defaults to the positions of IDF leadership, which usually calls for greater restraint.
