And so far, no charges have been filed. No one's calling for her to be expelled from the list of valid candidates. Nothing. No consequences whatsoever. In fact, it's the reverse. And for the record, defeating her candidacy via election isn't enough. It's the political equivalent to "winning in the marketplace of ideas". That in itself is bullshit, but it would've happened regardless of whether she harassed this woman or not.

There has to be consequences outside of regular election procedure because this harassment is outside regular election procedure. Since her harassment is based on gender, she needs to be arrested & convicted for sexual harassment as per the law.

Every position of authority, from bosses, to politicians, to police, to hospitals & doctors - all treat us in much the same manner as that Republican candidate did to that trans woman. Even many of the "news" sites reporting on this misgender her.
