But seriously: this rumor is completely unfounded and is outright ridiculous. FA does not share private data with any outside parties. Period. We don't even share OR discuss a user's private details with IMVU. Further, under GDPR, this would be massively illegal in the EU.

Considering there is no appeal process and everyone is ineligible to appeal, you can’t possibly have a role in a nonexistent appeals process.

We have an appeals process, and the process to start it is laid out in the ban message. Users can email us, state their case, and we hear them out and discuss their case.

Oh? That is reassuring. There’s been a lot of mystery about how people got on the ban list and why. And they have been posting screenshots saying they’re not eligible for appeals. Good to hear it’s not a closed book like it seemed this far. Thanks!

I've seen one screenshot (from the Altfurry discord) where a user said he got his account unbanned. So yeah, obviously there is a process. Some folks just like to think that because THEY didn't get theirs appealed, that everyone else might not get theirs either.

Ah, I can understand that. Like Dragoneer said, put in an appeal, make a good case, let the process work. And sometimes that means you gotta give folks more than 24-hours to do that. Anyways, hope your friend gets things squared away.
