Some people are going to try to twist this to be about politics. It's not.
-
-
That means it's political
-
It's not political. This decision was carefully weighed and monitored, and we verified each accounts of the people we took action against. This was not not about a person's personal politics.
-
"Not political" "banned alt-right hate groups" "no evidence antifa considered a hate group", hey uhm, you realize antifa is considered by multiple security agencies as a "domestic terrorist group" not even the alt-right is recognized as one by agencies such as the FBI. Just admit
-
That this is politically motivated. You can't ban one extreme around information and leave another one up when they are also considered violent groups by organizations more credible than the ACLU
-
And some of the people you even ban didn't commit threats, acts of violence, or post any "controversial art". However browsing through "antifa accounts" you can occasionally catch glimpses of badges and art of a clearly antifa-clad character punching a nazi-clad character
-
A lot of furs want the Nazi punching taken down simply because it has Nazi imagery. Of course they don't understand the implications of such a position.
-
Technically speaking dragoneer you're still not completely Scot free from being sued because you are showing implicit bias against a group, it doesn't matter if it's "your company" or "my guidelines" there have been numerous cases of people losing suits because their guidelines

> you're still not completely Scot free from being sued because you are showing implicit bias against a group I have receipts to back up all my actions.

You know thats not what I mean, dont twist it. I mean your staff is allowing art of hate groups to be posted on the site.
-
like its an art site, 90% of whats posted there will be fictional. So for you to allow it to exist there because its "fiction" you allow it, period
-
I read through the update and I think you should give it a chance. It seems like the rules were changed to allow mods to specifically go after those who are playing games in order to disrupt the community. However, they don't want to restrict legitimate references to evil in art.
-
They're excuse so far has been "it's fictional" and that is such a cop out because nobody is drawing Nazis in this day and age for the fun of it. Its either for or against, and the only ones who have a problem with anti-Nazi art are the Nazis.
-
I'm just saying, they just did the rule change today. Immediately after that they banned a whole bunch of alt right and furry raiders. It's clear they are trying to address the problem these groups are causing. I think everyone should wait and see how the change is implemented.

How did you determine who is "Alt-Right" exactly?
-
It's simple, if they don't like your thoughts or who you hang around then your alt right
-
That kind of comment doesn't really help though. I'm seriously asking, what kind of source/criteria was used for this? I'm certainly not Alt-Right and my FA account is squeaky clean of politics yet I got lumped into this somehow.
-
But that's the thing, its the only logical conclusion we can come up with. Hes trying to please a certain group of furries by removing another group that they don't like.
-
I mean certainly that's a thing that happens in communities like this but I refuse to believe it was anything so intellectually empty until I have some kind of evidence one way or the other.
-
You think he's going to give you any evidence? I mean he changes the rules on a short notice and instead of giving the "nazis" a warning he immediately bans them.
