It does actually, because you are trying to brand people as pedophiles, which is a crime, when they have not committed one according to US law. Obvs it depends where the artist lives. I’m not worried about them. I’m thinking within my own border.

That’s not true though and you know it. There is not enough evidence to support the idea that looking at drawn cub porn provides intent to commit crimes. The idea of making a list of “bad ppl” based on coincidences is very very thought-crimey. You don’t have the evidence.

no one is necessarily labelling those people as 'bad people', she's not implying everyone w that interest is inherently awful, just that people exist who would prefer not to do business w someone who dabbles in that content (such as personal trauma and CSA survivors)

Similarly ppl refuse to do business with people who are Nazi furs or Alt Furs or someone who has made open transphobic or racist statements. A lot of artists are individuals and conduct their business as such, and wanting to be informed on who you do business with isnt uncommon

Honestly, using "Nazi furs" as a defense is probably not your strongest argument. People throw the nazi accusation at literally anything they dont like nowadays. Do you really not see a problem with creating a list meant to demonize innocent people?

oh yeah I know it gets thrown around a lot; generally for me tho when I see someone's gallery full of red arm bands and swastikas or a Twitter full of edgy bullshit i take a few steps back.

I don't think the point of having a list is to demonize people, it's for info sake. If the list was used as "here's a public head hunt board, bully these people" that would be wrong. But if it's used for info sake for people to be aware if they take issue, that should be fine

Thats exactly what it WILL be used for and you know it. Making a list for the sake of "making people informed" is a bullshit excuse. A list like that will be used for harassment and call-outs, even if thats not the original intention of the list.

Nope actually I’ve got messaged by about ten people already because they either want to just know, they are commissioners and don’t want to do business with cub-artists or cub-commissioners, they fear meeting someone at a con that draws or commissions those themes or they
