If you're going to go this route you might as well unfollow GreenReaper, though I think this whole thing is dumb. People from the outside consider furry art to be bestiality, vore to be cannibalism, etc. its just that this time, we found something that disgusts us.

I'm starting to see conventional furry artists become afraid their characters simply look too young, that they too may be labeled "degenerates". This isn't right. Artists who aren't even remotely guilty of what you accuse are becoming afraid to express themselves.

Don't be afraid to draw them.There's nothing wrong with drawing child OCs. Just don't draw them sexually and in sexual situations and you'll be fine.

No, you don’t. Anthropomorphizing animals is, at minimum and by definition, giving them sapience and therefore the ability to consent. The spark of human intelligence is a key difference between wildlife art and furry art.

My experience has actually been that people outside the fandom have an EASIER time seeing that difference because theyre not using this "argument" to excuse their own shitty behavior.
