Love u Laura, but I stayed in Beirut, Lebanon before and it was all 5 plus star. Tons of people from Europe come to enjoy fine dining/lounges on the beach. I just didnt want everyone to think all of Lebanon is a dump. And it is 50% Christian 50% Muslim.

You're talking about Mount Lebanon Mutasarrifate (1861–1918). Areas (including Muslim majority areas) were added to it to form Greater Lebanon in 1920 (modern day Lebanon).
