    Interesting thread - But it does seem Israel calculates that sanctions on Iran are better than risking a nuclear break out. With sanctions, Iran remains poorer and isolated from international economy. Israel has superior air power allowing it to bomb, should Iran try to get nukes

    1.The basic assumption in DC, which I just visited, is that the JCPOA is unacceptable and will bring Iran to the nuclear threshold where it would be unstoppable.
