    The Syrian regime's prisons are a vast network of concentration camps, where torture and murder are endemic. Despite the solid evidence, it's unlikely justice will ever be done, certainly not by an international court.

    As the sanctions bite back, there will be a short-term increase in gold demand (which itself damages 's currency) and then it will fall off next year. The Mehmet Atilla case also makes it less likely Turkish gold traders will help Iran this time.

    Until & prove that they can challenge on vital issues, such as arms and security/military decisions, I will always count them as Hezbollah allies. In fact, since Aoun became president, they have only showed loyalty to Hezbollah on these issues.
