Not so surprising. The older generation is very protective of the Japanese identity and doesn't want to see internationalization ruin that. But I feel like the younger generation has a different perspective.
That’s good they’re being exposed, but one thing that worries me is the kids might be getting the message that people who look foreign are always going to be temporary outsiders
