SDF-backed MMC spox referring to recent unrest in Turkish-held Bab, says that while Manbij 'enjoys security and stability', 'Turkey backed factions and groups are attacking people in Al-Bab' and 'they continue their atrocities of looting, kidnapping in Afrin "

  6. I'm hoping that Russia wont join this, and see the YPG is a way to bridge non-radical groups and the government. Something I think is the only real way to end this war now.

  7. Wouldn't say accident. They found the YPG by accident, but the ideology that they fight for made something like this possible. What we'll see now is Turkey, Russia, Iran etc work their asses off to undermine it. It is the only real alternative to Assad.

  9. This is the madness Turkey is bringing with it to Syria. NATO allies need to start speaking up. I don’t know one area under Turkish influence that seems stable. Rebel groups continue to clash amongst themselves.

I think it is the 1st time, a democratic chosen MP, thrown in jail by a megalomanic dictator, runs for presidency. From Jail. Erdogan will make sure he won't win. But it does not matter. His message matters: never give up. Never give in. And never lose hope or abandone principals
