    I'm hoping that Russia wont join this, and see the YPG is a way to bridge non-radical groups and the government. Something I think is the only real way to end this war now.

    Wouldn't say accident. They found the YPG by accident, but the ideology that they fight for made something like this possible. What we'll see now is Turkey, Russia, Iran etc work their asses off to undermine it. It is the only real alternative to Assad.

    Almost by accident, the US has achieved the non-Assad and non-Jihadi Syrian Arab governance & security structures it wanted at the beginning of the revolution; incubated, but no longer controlled, by Kurdish force of arms.

    What Turkey and many of the rebel groups don't want you to know about the SDF.

    This will be explored in more detail in both videos & film, but the theme of this trip was the Arabs of the North Syrian Federation. From Manbij to Raqqa to Deir Ezzor, local Arabs are now running political affairs & are at the forefront of the fighting in Arab areas

    This is the madness Turkey is bringing with it to Syria. NATO allies need to start speaking up. I don’t know one area under Turkish influence that seems stable. Rebel groups continue to clash amongst themselves.
