      Or maybe. Public education is a socialist concept and after a lifetime of trying to get it to work within capitalism, we’d rather give democratic socialism a shot. Teachers are progressive. We don’t need to be “tricked” into being progressive.

          Depends on the conservative. Its a wide spectrum in the US that covers a whole host of right wing ideologies. However, this new crowd since Gingrich broke our discourse? Probably not.
