HYPER-REALITY

An image or simulation, or an aggregate of images and simulations, that either distorts the reality it purports to depict or does not in fact depict anything with a real existence at all, but which nonetheless comes to constitute reality.

Through holographic fabrications, warped texts, distorted and glitched textile printing, the collection challenges the idea of hyperreality and explores the contrast between celebrating technology and the fears and consequences that come with its advancement. Every material used in the collection has a shiny surface or includes an element of metallic texture to reinforce the futuristic vibe and concept. From cord end caps to lining, every detail is carefully chosen and evaluated to suit the hyperreal concept to connect and reflect what is relevant today.
