A certain “jvlogger” once came to me in DMs saying she wanted to kill herself and I tried to calm her down by saying nobody cared about the past anymore, and she cropped it to make it look like she said she wanted to die and I replied “it’s ok nobody cares” and circulated it. 
I felt like such an idiot for taking the bait, but that’s when I learned to just... not fuck with people in the ~community~ at all if they make me feel uncomfortable. Everything can be manipulated to make people look bad, if the intention is there :(
That’s terrible that someone would go that far... as of right now, I think I just need to give people less chances and trust my instincts. I’m just sad that I had to defend myself publicly at all. This could have just been left private. It’s not even a “community” thing.
It's frustrating, really all you can really do is hope the audience knows you well enough to know when you're being slandered unfairly. Anyone who'd believe I'd tell someone to kill themselves over DM probably didn't pay too much attention to my personality in the first place.
