This decision is the wet dream of vote suppressors. A citizenship question could discourage millions of U.S. permanent residents from answering the census, leading to the underrepresentation of Latinos & Asian-Americans in reapportionment & redistrictinghttps://twitter.com/hansilowang/status/978439617820151808 …

Citizens that don't want foreigners meddling in their elections. People should have to live in a community to get to know it before trying to dictate how it's run. Same if moving cities, states. Basic respect for the community one moves into.
-
Citizen and foreigner are as dumb a distinction as white and colored.
-
How is that? Was there not a bunch of outrage over Russians running a few thousand dollars in ads on FB decried as "foreign interference" where as an illegal alien also a foreigner directly impacts elections through counts, districting and in some cases even voting?
-
Elections are a terrible way to run a country. The scary Russians thing is bullshit. Not saying it didn't happen, but personally I don't care.
-
How do you vote without elections? Do you not believe in democracy whether direct or a republic?
-
I prefer dictatorship.
-
I have a feeling you are being facetious but let's say your not, why would a citizen want you to have the right to vote simply so you can use that right to revoke their right to vote? In that case you can be dictated to by citizens who do have the right to vote

I'm not playing. I'm 29. In my lifetime the quality of governance in the US has declined precipitously. I lay the blame squarely at the feet of the ignorant and unserious people. The alternative, China, has in the meantime invested in the future at breakneck speed.
