Reports of Slack being down

We're sorry for the continued trouble some users are having connecting to Slack. We're continuing to monitor the issues with an upstream provider. Thank you for your patience.

We hit a bump earlier today after an issue with an upstream service provider made some users unable to connect to Slack. Our provider fixed the problem and we're back online. Apologies for the disruption.

The issue has been resolved, and searching for members via DM or the search feature should work as expected now. Thanks for bearing with us!

All users on the Japanese version should now be able to access their workspaces once more. Apologies for all this disruption. We appreciate you sticking with us through this.

The team has investigated this issue and confirmed that it's not affecting any core functionality. They will continue to work on finding a resolution to this number count disparity in due course. We hope it doesn't cause too much hassle in the meantime.
