    A member of the community used a NEM mosaic to mark suspect accounts. It is down to the receiver to determine the trustworthiness of the "hacker" account over the account mosaic. Isn't this exactly what blockchain, trustless, decentralisation is about

    (1) People trying to spin 's method to track the hackers coins into a dictatorship move is probably the dumbest thing I've read all day.

    1/ hack update: NEM is creating an automated tagging system that will be ready in 24-48 hours. This automated system will follow the money and tag any account that receives tainted money. NEM has already shown exchanges how to check if an account has been tagged.

    Regarding hack — says no fork planned. NEM team is tagging all tainted addresses with a mosaic and helping exchanges identify tainted accounts. Example:

    コインチェックのアドレスを見てもらえば分かりますが、Remote Accountがありません。 この状態で、ハーベスティングは不可能ですよ。

    コインチェックが顧客のXEMをマルチシグのコールドウォレットに保管せずホットウォレットに保管してた訳。ハーベストしてたからなんだな。これは合点が行く。顧客のXEMを危険に晒し自分達の利益を得ていた。これは怒りを買う。またこれは同時に仮想通貨XEMの仕様上の脆弱性とも言える。POIの脆弱性だよ

    NEM + Coincheck are working together to track + flag the hacked wallets + related accounts with the objective of tracing the ultimate owners of the suspected wallets. NEM is identifying + flagging suspected wallets holding the stolen funds + sending info to exchanges. More soon.
