What is "fetch"?

What does checking the "fetch" option in custom settings for a domain do?

My guess is that it controls whether other sites can make XMLHttpRequest and Fetch request to the site in question.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Workaround: use your favorite search engine, add site:forums.informaction.com to your query

Thanks for the links. Sounds like a good guess. So if I understand correctly, unchecking it would disable ajax requests to that domain
