Actually Egg Fu's 2 through 4 never appeared. Just Egg Fu the First and Egg Fu the Fifth. How they missed the opportunity to be really stupid and call the second version "Egg Fu Young" I do not know. I mean if you're going to horrifically insensitive why not at least make a pun?

Egg Fu is actually so over-the-top he wraps right back around to hilarious for me, but I can see how he could be found just plain offensive - and I bet that's what he was intended to be, being a Cold War-era creation after all.

Somehow DC thought that, in the 2000s, they could bring back the character and, so long as they ditched the name, moustache, and accent, file the racism off. As it turns out, he's still Asian, still yellow, and still shaped like an egg, so no, you cannot.

It's almost a relief in a way, but playing devil's advocate, maybe could have been a little less passive-aggressive with someone who'd just threatened self-harm (even with the slight chance he was just being a drama queen).
