Because it’s government run.If the P.O. was owned by a public company, their mandate would be to maximize shareholder wealth. With big govt, which the Dems live for, nothing ever runs efficiently. What a mess what a joke. The Dems just love their govt programs which are ruining US

If a private company owned the USPS half of America wouldn't get mail because it wouldn't be cost effective.
-
Exactly. If post office were a "business," no mail would be delivered outside cities to (RED STATES) N Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Montana & all of Alaska. Shareholders would ban mail to those areas as too costly. Benjamin Franklin made sure USPS was for all Americans, duh.

And why should I be contributing to your business?
-
Because small business is the backbone of our economy.
-
Yes, correct. The difference is that using tax dollars (thru subsidies to USPS, i.e. fed funding postal employee pensions) is not the right way to support small business.
-
Goddamn there is so many layers to this tweet. If you take the USPS away sending a letter is gonna cost a fortune, shipping is gonna go way up and you will have to pay more than you do in taxes a year for one package to be delivered, imagine living in rural America, no more mail.

USPS delivers mine Dude... Wake up!
-
Not with a big bulk item..wake up!
-
I guess we can all agree that both UPS and USPS deliver Amazon packages? Geez
-
Fake news! I get mine from FedEx and Amazon delivery! (Amazon uses at least four shipping companies in the US)
-
Sorry, it is not fake news. UPS and FedEx pull up to the back dock of post offices all over the country every day with containers of parcels. They charge their customers their higher price, then pay the lower USPS price for delivery. Prices are set by the Postal Rate Commission
-
Yeah both FedEx and UPS offer “smart post” services where they pay USPS to piggy back off their much larger network. It’s a hybrid service that combines the reliability of the private services with the lower cost of USPS because of their larger busier network. Everyone benefits.
-
Except the customer paying for the profit.

But again what does her point have to do with how she dresses? What you said is a symptom of what is wrong with the US for women.
