I passed the phone interview, but got an in person interview tomorrow with 3 different people and one of them is CEO. I'm getting really scared feeling so nervous... it does say that I'll interview with 3 of them but in the email it says I'll "meet" with 3 of them. I hope it means just interviewing one person at a time...

oh would like to ask one more question. In the job descriptions, they're expecting me to know the basics of excel like inputting data in the spreadsheet and adding cells. I did use excel constantly in college but what I mostly did was just inputting data in the cells, copy to make the table in the word document, or just use the data in the cells to generate graphs. Can you recommend the commonly used features in excel that I should know fundamentally as a marketing administrative assistant?

oh, I read the description wrong, this is what it says "Your responsibilities will include marketing related practices including client list management using Microsoft Excel, email proof reading, email testing and a small amount of writing."

I'm kind of nervous about writing part because I'm not really vocabulary strong type of guy and not really good at writing essays (based on academic years in the past). Will I need to know basic marketing concepts?

so I took the assessment just now and, it was weird lol. There wasn't really any speed typing test or any excel related questions. The first few questions threw me off because it asked me stuff like what does NDAstand for, In FY2017, what does fy stand for, ar and ap difference?, and some customer situational questions and stuff. I was panicking a little because each question was time with not much length so I panicked a little so I might have gotten a question or 2 wrong... The first question was about,, I don't remember but it was something about which one of the follow you do not need to know or something, the choices were, meeting time, passport, flight time, flight date. By pattern, the meeting time seems to be the choice but I ended up putting passport I feel so stupid now sigh...

sigh, greeting visitors and escorting people around? I've been applying to these jobs I wanted to just sit in my chair and use computer to work all day. Working as a sales associate, I could tell, dealing with customers and guiding/helping them face to face was something I could never do anymore which is why I wanted office job...

thank you, I'll look into that and review the basics. It says I have until next week to finish the 20 min assessment so I'lll make some preparation without rushing too much.

I just would like to know if I'm getting the right visual of being an administrative assistant. Do they have their own cubicle and work there like others or am I just running around helping everything as an assistant? I would like to work in the office of my own in the chair which is why I applied to this...

thanks for the info though I don't know anything about all this 1:1:1: or .g standards lol. I just wish to avoid that moment when it becomes silent when interacting with customers and just having him look through the product while standing beside him not saying anything, it just feels awkward as heck...

well based on printing pages, 8000 saves you around $34 along with the fact that you don't have to go through the hassle of buying multiple cartridges everytime you run out using 4000 when it comes to 2000 pages. I'll research on printers that way but for routers or hard drives, what would be main aspect I need to focus on other than its relation to internet speed for router and the amount of storage for hard drives? I can research on these but I just would like to know the specific area I should focus on.

will they ask excel questions too? I have experience using excel in college but I all I Did mostly was after doing the lab experiment, I type in the data in excel cells, copy the whole table to past it into word document when making reports and sometimes in excel use the data points to make curved graph of it. I did use vlookup too but didn't get a chance to use it alot because the data wasn't really that big but don't remember too much.

Is there specific in excel I Should learn about?
