That's the whole point of Catholic saints btw. "Everything tells me that I should stop believing, a ton of facts go against my beliefs, but

I am faithful enough to ignore it and in the end I get rewarded for it"

You'll notice the irony of Saints not needing proof & rewards to stay faithful but us needing to know that they got rewarded

That's... not really how most Saints work though - they're mostly either martyrs who kept faith during torture, or else "miracle-workers".

Exactly what I'm saying. People without faith would stop believing in the face of contrary evidence like, idk, torture. That's the point

They're called faithful because they didn't stop believing despite the fact that rational people would have. Ever heard about Job?
