Well, more daycare is needed so women can continue careers...but this as main photo???
-
It's even better than that committee to boost women participants in governance and the committee itself was all male.

This picture reminds me I hate the idea "empower." If somebody gives it to you, it's not really power. Because they can take it back.
-
not necessarily true with knowledge for instance. If you teach someone to do something you usually do, you can’t take it back from them.
-
Maybe that's why "teach" is a nice, straightforward, active verb, and not some weird passive construction like "emlearn."

Nippon Kaigi women's division thinks that a woman's job is to raise a new generation of kids w real Japanese values. http://fujii-ritsuko.com/blog/2015/09/13/%e3%80%8c%e6%97%a5%e6%9c%ac%e5%a5%b3%e6%80%a7%e3%81%ae%e4%bc%9a%e5%b1%b1%e5%8f%a3%e3%80%8d%e5%85%89%e6%94%af%e9%83%a8%e3%81%ae%e7%99%ba%e4%bc%9a%e2%91%a0/ …pic.twitter.com/QrNwieAEmM

I'll sleep better tonight knowing how empowered I am. Wait... my true strength is staying up all night with the baby

It's a picture that says, "You can be anything you want, from a stay-at-home mom, to a daycare worker, to maybe even a stay-at-home mom!"

It's a stupid pic, but daycare is one of the key problems in getting women back into the workforce in Japan. There isn't many options
-
this is absolutely true but not the way koike wants to do it. More private schools, less oversight and regulation.
-
also child care workers are already super exploited.
-
And that

Governer Koike is such a disgrace. She has not proposed any plans for the coming Olympic, and the transfer of the Tsukiji fishing market. >
-
She did nothing as a governer after her inaugradation. Then, suddenly joined the lower house election campaign only to lose the match.
-
What is worse, she claimed that she lost the election because of gender discrimination. Ofcourse this is wrong because not a few
-
number of female upper and lower house representatives exists.
-
How can a person like Koike, who tries pretending to be a weak powerless girl only when it is convenient, lead Japanese woman?
-
She does not deserve her current position not because of her gender but of the fact that she lacks the ability.
