Even my mother has given me the "well you ask for it" talk. Explain to me HOW exactly I ASK FOR IT? By showing only my face and arms?? By covering the rest of my skin?

I'm lucky in the sense that the majority of my harassment has only been vocal... but it still isn't acceptable by any means.

I live in Tokyo, a city that was named the safest city in the world. And I still get harassed by men. If a woman cannot go without harassment in the safest city in the world, that means there is literally NO CITY IN THE WORLD THAT IS SAFE FOR WOMEN.
