You can def find somewhere cheaper though, but then it’s whether a landlord accepts you or not.

More than a 1LDK within 20km of 新宿 for less than 100,000 a month is gonna be tough as nails.

Never said under 100k though? I was talking about the 6 month upfront payment.

That's ¥600,000 up front tho But usually that's also 1-2 months of actual rent included there so you wouldn't have to pay rent for 2 months
