This posting has something to do with “SCN1A“, one of my previous postings.

Work by Miyazawa, A. et al. provides us with static pieces of information on the pentameric structure of Torpedo nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR). So can we observe the gating of full-length human nAChR using AFM in solution and overcome static images of murine nAChR?

On ACh-binding protein (AChBP):

If human ortholog of AChBP exists, does it also modulate synaptic transmission?
