Ok, so you are here because there is a parental lock on your console. There are 3 different methods of removing this. All require some work on your part, and some are easier then others. I can't stress this enough. ALL CONSOLES HAVE A DIFFERENT CODE!! We will cover all three different methods in this tut..

    1. No hardware to dump nand, works on all retails.
This is the easiest way. It involves you calling Microsoft support. Tell them you just bought the console and it had a parental code set and you need to unlock it. They will ask for your serial number, and it may have to be register to you. Give it to them and they will give you steps needed for your particular console to factory reset it.

    2. Have a way to dump the nand. Can work on RGH or retail, as long as you dump the nand.
This is a multi step process. First you have to dump the nand. You need Jrunner and you need to wire in the nand-x cables.

Once your cables are wired in click Read Nand in Jrunner.

Once it is read, click tools.

Then click SMC config and this will pop up. Look at the reset code
    [IMG]

This is your factory reset code for the console. Power on your xbox. Go to Settings -> System -> Console Settings -> System Info and enter the following code. Left trigger, Right trigger, X, Y, Left Bumper, Right bumper, (enter reset code here.)

If you entered wrong, it will take you back to the Console settings screen. If you do it right it will show this.

Click yes and it will reset you console to factory settings removing all parental settings.

    3. You want to RGH/JTAG ect.
This method is used if you have or are about to perform the RGH/JTAG hack. You perform all the steps in the multiple other tuts, the only difference is you add a step before you click create xebuild image.

    Click XB Settings
    [IMG]

    Click advanced XeBuild Options
    [IMG]

    Click NoMobile

Then continue to build your nand as your normally would.

Im attempting to remove parental lock with your methods number 2 and 3 with no luck.

Method 2. I got the "unlock" code with the NAND and J.Runner (SMC Config Editor->Reset Code), i entered in "Settings -> System -> Console Settings -> SystemInfo ", i got the confirmation screen, selected "YES".....but when the xbox reboots, nothing has changed.

Method 3. I have a "unformatted" decive inside, i just bought this xbox second handed, so i think it had a 4g built in memory chip that is now corrupted. But i succesfully dumped the NAND (around 48 Mb), and modified it with the "nomobile" option, since i dont have any hardware to wire my XBox to my PC, im trying to flash the modified NAND using a usb pen, it gets to the 100% succesfull writing, but when the xbox reboots, it hasnt chaged at all, still parental locked =( .

I tryied to flash using xell but it seems that flashing its not compatible with coronas 4g.

    thanks for ur help.

Unlocking my xbox was the easiest one going.. I got it from ConsoleWizard and they never told me the passcode, guessed it though, it was on the d-pad! Up right down left!
