What's the ultimate way to sync between two Macs?

Sorry for the juvenile question. But really… I've read the documentation for the numerous syncing methods and i don't often find all of them employed by me. I simply prefer to sync the feedback between two Macs (laptop and desktop). I don't want to utilize any cloud syncing strategies (which includes Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) and I'm not utilizing the mobile version so don't attend to syncing to those devices.

Becoming new at all to v5, initial I thought Wi-Fi syncing is a far better to go, but that is apparently a simple solution only between Macs and iOS devices (BUMMER!), so that's no wonderful. Folder syncing… effectively, that doesn't are syncing for the «other» Mac. That looks like it's only syncing to the nearby folder.

It seems like there are 2 option left:
1. I export the results to a file (File > Export) and AirDrop it to my other Mac, where I most certainly will import it.
2. I build a backup and AirDrop that backup file to the other Mac, where I import the backup file.

Which one is a more rewarding remedy? Exporting and while using the exported file, or doing a backup and reimporting the backup? Could there be Maybe another/better way?

The PW MGR I am employing previously 12 months posseses an problem when exporting/importing the results file. I cannot import the file unless I delete all entries in the app. Otherwise, if your Information has been merged, some type of corruption will occur. Could there be any such problem with 1PW?

I was playing about with Folder Sync. It's actually particularly neat — with 1 caveat. Just like you mentioned above, "...1PW can detect when that drive is connected to the Mac, and will sync with it". That will work case with external drives. But I'm sure I'm not the only one having a desktop in your own home as well as a laptop in the office (or you take our laptop every day back and forth between work and home...whatever...) and don't wish to maintain carrying a good USB flash drive only for syncing purposes.

So the matter seems to be, when I'm syncing into a shared folder more than a network, is the fact I maintain finding a warning dialog the network volume is just not available. Every time I click «OK» to dismiss the dialog, it just pops ideal back. This will get annoying rather rapidly. Which means this is exactly what I've accomplished as my workflow:
Generate a sync folder to the desktop machine at your home. This tends to work great in itself.
Within the Program Prefs, enable File Sharing for the desktop and be sure this folder is shared.
On the laptop, connect with this server (Finder > Go > Connect to Server) and connect with the desktop Mac

The behaviour with network shares is incredibly annoying and it's why I by no means suggest it and Generally suggest the route of your pen drive. We've discussed this while using the devs and what their investigations found was that OS X reports back with better data synchronization software for removable drives than it does network shares. For starters OS X is notified when something is file sync software physically removed however network shares things have to time out.
