When you download a track, simply select one of the following options:

Individuals, Small Businesses or Non-Profits

This is a royalty-free license for use by an individual, a business with fewer than 10 employees or a non-profit.


The use can be commercial or non-commercial, on any platform or medium.


You can’t resell the track, or make it available for others to use in their content.


If you select a download option that includes a requirement to give us credit, you must publish the following text alongside any media in which you use your downloaded track: Music from Jukedeck - create your own at http://jukedeck.com.

Large Businesses

This is a royalty-free license for use by a business with 10 or more employees.


The use can be commercial or non-commercial, on any platform or medium.


You can’t resell the track, or make it available for others to use in their content.

Buy The Copyright

This transfers ownership of the track to you

IN FULL - THE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

The following Jukedeck Music Licensing Terms (the “Agreement”) is a contract between you, the licensee, and Jukedeck Limited. By using our website/or purchasing one of our licenses, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of it. Please read this Agreement carefully and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.

Jukedeck Music Licensing Terms

  1. Definitions

    1. In this Agreement the following words and expressions have the following meanings

      Business

      Any activity or enterprise (incorporated or unincorporated) entered into for profit.

      Commercial or non-commercial use

      Distribution and use of a Jukedeck Track as part of your own Content on any platform or medium. [For example this includes use as background music, as a soundtrack to a film, video clip, in a computer game or advertisement, on multimedia platforms, social media, company websites and presentations, internal corporate training content, video sharing sites, advertisements, online and offline learning tools websites and as a backing track to a song.] For avoidance of doubt, it does not mean the right to resell or otherwise commercialise the music.

      Content

      Media (excluding Music) such as videos, films, games, apps, songs, text, and images.

  2. Licensing process

    1. When you download a Track from Jukedeck, you must select either an Individual, a Small Business or Non-Profit or a Large Business license, or elect to purchase the Copyright. The choice you make will govern the restrictions that apply to your use of the Music (see clause 3.)

  3. License restrictions

    1. Individual, Small Business or Non-Profit License restrictions

      1. When you download a Track under either the Individual, Small Business or Non-Profit license, we grant you, the licensee, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, forever to use the Track in an unlimited number of your own pieces of Content for Commercial or non-commercial use.

      2. You must either be an Individual, a Business with fewer than 10 (TEN) employees or a Non-Profit of any size.

    2. Large Business license restrictions

      1. When you download a Track under the Large Business license, we grant you, the licensee, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, forever to use the Track in an unlimited number of your own pieces of Content for Commercial or non-commercial use.

      2. You can be either an Individual or a Business of any size.

    3. Additional terms for both Individual, Small Business or Non-Profit and Large Business licenses

      1. Any Content in which a Track (in its entirety, or in part) is incorporated must comply with our content standards.

      2. You may not sublease the license agreement to any other party

      3. You may not resell the Track by itself or as part of a package

      4. You may not resell a Track (or otherwise make it available) within a downloadable template where someone would be able to download the sound file as a separate file, such as in e-card templates or website templates.

      5. You may not resell a Track (or otherwise make it available) as part of any competing product such as music compilation or music library.

      6. You may use a Track on YouTube, but Jukedeck retains ownership of the Track. You may not claim ownership of the Track (or otherwise make it available) through YouTube’s Content ID, even if synchronized with your own Content.

      7. You hereby acknowledge that Jukedeck is and remains the owner of all right, title and interest in the Track, including without limitation any copyrights therein. The Track is protected by and subject to English and international copyright laws. Jukedeck retains the right to sell licenses of the Track to third parties at its discretion.

    4. Copyright

      1. When you purchase a Track under the Copyright license, Jukedeck transfers ownership of the track to you. Thereafter, you can do what you wish with the track.

  4. General

    1. You must ensure that any third parties to whom you distribute Tracks are made aware of and are bound by these Licensing Terms.

    2. You must also abide by Jukedeck’s Terms and Conditions.
