This is an interesting video posted on January by Cyprus Mail which asks some Turkish-Cypriots on whether they think north Cyprus should be annexed by Turkey if the talks fail again.
I personally was slightly surprised that a lot of them thought that Turkey should. I think that Turkey shouldn’t because if Turkey annexes north Cyprus, then there would be no hope for a united Cyprus.
I’ve listened to the guy from 1:25 - 1:47 over and over because I really like his speech pattern. His pattern of intonation and his body language (there and when he shows up again later) are extremely reminiscent to me of people I know in the Caribbean. Even though he’s speaking way too fast for me to follow without subtitles, his interview is my favourite.
