What should I tag something with if I know it will bother you a lot to read it? (So that it gets filtered, *if* you're filtering posts.)
I doubt there’s much point to this as 1) I barely read my dash and 2) most of the time I read Tumblr posts it’s by going to the blog in question - which filtering tools can’t filter - which is why 3) I never bothered to enable any filtering tools.
So my advice is to just post what you want. Chances are I won’t see it and, even if I do, I won’t hold any potential upsetness against you.
