Gadot leaps to No. 1 as promotion continues for Wonder Woman, which is currently the sixth highest-grossing film worldwide of 2017, accruing $588 million
The Hollywood Reporter reports: Gal Gadot spends her first week at No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Actors chart after ranking the previous two weeks at No. 4.
The Top Actors chart is a ranking of the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex.
The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended June 20.
Gadot, the title star of the new superhero film Wonder Woman, jumps 4-1 on the latest chart with a bump in all chart metrics.
Along with new behind-the-scenes video from the film’s shoot, Gadot also posted her appreciation of her husband, Yaron Versano, for Father’s Day on June 18, including a photo of Versano’s shirt depicting “your wife” vs. “my wife,” the latter a silhouette of Wonder Woman.
Gadot gains 220 percent in all engagement metrics, including 224 percent in Instagram favorites.
