Ivy Cheung

Lead Counsel, Asia, Hong Kong

As a company lawyer based in Hong Kong, I take care of all the legal and corporate matters that arise in connection with the daily operation and business activities of all Technicolor entities in the APAC region. As a result, my work is challenging, exciting and enriching, and I learn new things every day.

It's great to have the opportunity to work closely with committed colleagues from different functions in a challenging but interesting work environment to realize some exciting opportunities. I originally joined Technicolor as a Legal Counsel. I then got promoted to Senior Counsel and finally Lead Counsel. It's been really rewarding to see Technicolor's growth, and I am glad that I am part of the Technicolor family - a place to excel and grow!

Mandy Li

Project Sourcing Manager, China

As PSM, my job is to ensure Technicolor's new products have the best technology, highest quality and lowest-cost components, while still securing a fast time-to-market and high product profitability. I need to demonstrate the skills of smart negotiating, subtle influencing and rational decision-marking on a daily basis.

The best part of the job is that you will find yourself sitting in the driver's seat with the ignition key in your hand and a cross-functional team by your side, ready to explore and exploit every possible opportunity.

My most exciting project is a Satellite HD Zapper which kicked off early this year - and I launched my very first TPC (Total Product Costdown program) for it. It was the most fascinating journey - we scrutinized every cent, and after three months of team effort and dedication, the project is now ranked as one of the most successful model projects for global STB products.

There are many things I like about Technicolor - the consummate career development program, the creative atmosphere and the diverse culture are among my favourites. The career development programs here give everyone a fair chance to further develop in their profession. I have taken full advantage of this program and I've seen my capability and expertise elevated to a whole new level that has meant I'm better able to line up with the rapidly evolving Technicolor business requirements.

Santosh Vasudeva

Senior HR Manager, India

I am responsible for leading and managing our compensation strategy, benefits management, payroll processing, HRIS management, global mobility, internal and external HR audits, statutory compliance and policy administration.

The role involves independently manage the end-to-end aspects of service delivery on all HR Operations matters. So some of this will simply mean successfully managing the ongoing services in, some of the others involve detailed deliberation, conceptualization, analysis, project planning, implementation and change management.

Ever since I joined Technicolor in 2013, I've been privileged to have been part of several high-impact projects. The compensation re-structuring project in India enhanced our knowledge of India's direct tax laws, while the merger of two legal Technicolor entities in India and the Cisco acquisition project were great opportunities to network and explore various change management methodologies.

I love the fact that 'People Matter' at Technicolor. I am 14 years into my career and I can tell you the years I have spent in Technicolor have been some of the most memorable and productive. Technicolor has a great culture that gives you freedom and autonomy for an ideal working condition. I love the variety. Every day is different and I get to interact with such a varied group. It means I am always learning.

Yves Niorthe

Head of Finance, Australia

My job is to provide accounting, reporting and general financial support to enable our Operations team to grow revenue, profit and cash flow. Not only am I interacting daily with every profit and cost center manager, but I'm working at the heart of the business. Legal, business development, supply chain, real estate - you name it, I'm involved.

It's been an amazing 14 years at Technicolor, having worked in Finance and Operations roles in three different countries. If I were to pick out two standout projects, one would be assisting Home Entertainment Services management in defining the strategy for the North America Manufacturing and Distribution footprint - and then implementing a roadmap covering everything from the relocation of equipment to IT and supply chain. The second would be a project to redefine our DVD case supply chain strategy in Australia to address the challenges posed by a single supply source, pricing, quality issues and foreign exchange exposure. What's really struck me in my time here has been the energy and fighting spirit of different teams to find new ways to be the best at what we do.
