There's a problem. Self-esteem, despite the name, is bullshit women made up. Confidence is what men have. Self-esteem is what someone else gives you.

Gain confidence, and the only way to do it is by doing something. Learn a language and become fluent in it. Be the best CoD player. Travel the world on less than $2000. Learn to swim the length of the pool in one breath. Run a 7 minute mile.

That's confidence. You know you can be successful at accomplishing something on your own. Without help. You have confidence in your abilities.

Self-esteem was invented for girls in schools because if school isn't 100% focused on girls then the world will end.

Women need "self-esteem" and the only way to get it is someone giving it to you. It's manufactured. That's why schools give you rewards and gold stars and participation medals. Someone else gives you a reward for marginal abilities.

"You got an A on a spelling test! Here's a gold star!" Congrats. Your'e a marginal adult who can memorize the word C.A.T. and write the letters in order. You're a winner.

So focus on being confident about knowing Spanish, or sailing, or scuba diving, or being good at investing money, or being an expert at your job and never being flustered.

Or controlling your emotions when you have issues in life. Or knowing how to handle shit.

You know what a huge confidence builder is? Starting a fire without matches or a lighter. Learn how to bow drill, friction, flint and steel, whatever. You go camping and start a fire entirely with what's around you? You're a God. That's confidence. You've used the environment as a tool to have deity like powers and the most powerful tool man harnessed.

Self-esteem? That's about feeling good being fat, and not being fat shamed. Self-esteem is for girls, to feel good about being marginal.
