This will be my first post here on MGTOW and just happened recently so here goes:

So I wake up this morning at 11:40 to get my day started with some good ole' breakfast. I have to be at work at 2pm, this is why I'm up at that time, I like to gather as much energy as I can because my job is a soul sucker.

I put on my sweatpants and a T-shirt and slowly make my way down the stairs when I'm greeted by the sound of the kitchen television.

"Shit," I think to myself. I walk into the kitchen to see my mother eating her self made hot breakfast.

"Good morning, mom," I said as I got a spoon and a bowl.

"I have two things," was her response.

I looked at her as I pulled a box of Oreo O's out of the cupboard.

"What's the first one?"

"You need to something with your room"

We just moved recently and I've not had the time to unpack everything yet because of my soul sucking job. I do enough there so when i come home i want to relax.

I don't understand her fascination with my room either. She always finds a reason to go in there and bother me. I changed that by locking my door at all times.

"Next thing?" i asked nonchalantly, visibly unphased by her ignorance.

"Why are you so negative?"

I looked at her while I poured my cereal. "I'm not negative." "Yes you are and I find it disrespectful." "You're still going on about yesterday when Aaron took a picture of me?"

Aaron is her boyfriend and yesterday we went to see Spider-Man Homecoming, which was fantastic.

As we were watching the previews they were taking selfies and I was sitting one seat away from them annoyed by their social media tracking. I then see a flash and noticed Aaron pointing his phone towards me.

I snatched his phone and saw a picture of me mid-chewing my delicious food and proceeded to delete that embarrassing momento.

He somehow undeleted it and showed my mother the snapshot and all I hear are giggles. I shook my head and told them that they were doing the most and her response to that was:

"We're having fun don't ruin it."

Back to the table I said i don't think sneaking pictures is fun. I do not enjoy that and I find that disrespectful to my privacy and all.

"But that's how Aaron and I have fun" "Well i'm not Aaron. You know I don't like when people take pictures of me without my consent"

"No I didnt."

I scoffed and proceeded to eat.

"Did you walk PJ,"she asked. "He wasn't with me this morning so--"

"See there you go being smart!" She cut me off mid-sentence

"I'm not being smart and before you cut me off, I was going to say that since I just woke up and PJ was with you two, Aaron might of took him outside himself."

She went on about how she asked a yes or no question so yes or no should have been the answer

I looked at her and said well it would have went deeper anyway so I answered all your questions in one go. I told from now on I just won't talk

She then asked to borrow $300 dollars because of a bill and said she's trying to start saving... As if I'm not so I can move out. I'm 21 btw, with a job, a car, but trying to get away. I don't understand why she doesn't ask her boyfriend.

So she starts asking more questions even about my ex-girlfriend who ghosted me a few weeks ago and I answer them yes or no like she initially said she wanted to avoid any further disagreements. Apparently she thought I was still being smart. But I let it go.

Then as I was going back to my room she says I never said good morning...

Men just can't win, it seems.
