Hey guys I'm kinda new here. I'm 23 year old male. I wanted to ask what you guys think of the zodiac signs/horoscopes. I was born on June 23rd so im a cancer. I've been looking at it for a while and it is spot on. Cancers are the most emotional and sensitive sign and I can't seem to get a hold of it. It gets in the way of work, school, friends, women, family. I want to a better man but I can't seem to get over my personality per se. Any insights on the subject would be helpful.

So there are only 12 types of personalities which are governed by what time of the year you were born?

It's not only 12. Each sign has its own certain traits that make up the personality.

Aren't zodiac signs simply how ancient people interpreted constellations? Why not rely on mirrors and smoke instead? It's just as effective and doesn't require reading!

I have issues with my personality and my zodiac sign is spot on. How can I improve myself when all of its true?

You are putting a zodiac glass ceiling on yourself. Now you can blame the sign assigned to you for the reason for your issues. Instead of blaming yourself. Psychology is a much more reliable field of study to understand your mind. If you read something enough times that states what you believe is a fact, you will be convinced.

  • Its a crutch.
  • Its a coping mechanism.
  • Its rationalization.
  • Its avoidance.

Example: Tell a child Santa is real. Get everyone to say Santa is real. The child will believe Santa is real. Now get a bunch of books and philosophers to state Zodiac signs are accurate. Then listen/read over and over to these influencers and now you believe its true to the point you start acting that way because you believe thats the way you are supposed to act. Its manipulation. Convincing you to believe something and you are allowing it. You are giving up your logic and letting someone else label you. If 100 people are Cancer, there is bound to be some who are sensitive and emotional. The ones who read the cancer sign description and happen to be emotional are now believers in zodiac signs. Pure coincidence. Why do you think some people don't believe in the signs. Because its inaccurate. There is nothing consistent. It would fail any reputable scientific method.
