      If you think this is the only post you are gravely mistaken. Most companies that do this tend to hide their adverts as "Look at this cool video!" or "Wow, look what $COMPANY did for me!"

      A simple video or even a picture can go a long way to get some people to buy a product simply because they're reminded of its existence. Same thing goes with fake good will.

Computers keep time by counting seconds since 00:00:00 1/1/1970, so if it was set to -1 for example it would be 23:59:59 12/31/1969.                                                 It wasn't banned because Reddit cares about people buying votes and/or otherwise manipulating their system, it was banned because Reddit wasn't getting a cut. If Reddit actually cared about stopping vote manipulation, Gallowboob would have gone the way of Quickmeme ages ago.

                                                I love that this happened because it confirmed everything that's been going on with the political posts on Reddit lately. A 7 year old account posts an obvious advertisement that is bot upvoted thousands of times to the front page. It's the same shit that's going on with the political posts, except for the mods let those people do it. Also shows that the age of the account you suspect to be shilling means nothing.
