Well if we're being pedantic here, saying that the thumb isn't a finger is phylogenetically misleading and linguistically wrong. The thumb is evolutionarily homologous to exactly the same kind of digit as the other four, and Merriam-Webster defines a finger as any of the five terminating members of the hand.

The thumb is certainly different from the other fingers (in that it's opposable and only has two phalanges), but it certainly belongs to the same category.

4% of the population is still very very small, and very dependent on location. San Francisco? Yeah that's not one in twenty five. But deep South? Things are different. Same thing can be said with race. Black people make up 12% of the population. But where I live, there aren't almost any black people. Head on down to detroit, you're looking at about 80% black population. Location is key. But since this whole story is bullshit, it doesn't matter that much

      The downvotes are probably because your source is an image where people graded themselves on their homosexuality, which is extremely vague and not really statistical.       Well it's using the Kinsey scale which is a scientific scale going from hetrosexual to homosexual. Bisexual is usually between 1 and 5 or 2 to 4 depending on where you get your info. I think that's fair enough

          I used to have a friend, Saad, who was black, gay and Jewish. He was almost incapable of expressing an opinion without somehow bringing up all three and suggesting that his opinion -- no matter how banal and conventional it was -- was uniquely informed by his identity. I remember once getting into a really heated argument with him because he suggested that his ironic appreciation of Britney Spears was more meaningful than my ironic appreciation of Spears because he was black, gay and Jewish.

          Despite this quirk of his, Saad was a really cool dude. One day I was hanging out with some friends who all knew Saad, and one of them suggested we call him up and invite him over to hang out and smoke pot. From the kitchen I yelled "I'm Saad, and as a gay, black Jewish man I like strawberry ice cream." For some reason (my guess? the pot) this struck everyone as absolutely hysterical, and for the next year or so you couldn't mention Saad without someone saying"I'm Saad, and as a gay, black, Jewish man I like [completely random thing]!"

          He was pretty good humored about it when he eventually found out about the joke, but sadly he stopped ascribing his every opinion to his unique perspective, and the joke stopped being funny.

          Then Saad got hooked on crystal meth and vanished into the black hole of drugs and crime. :(
