One of the primary reasons it happened, though, is because of the lying about donations. He's not in this for mlpol, he's in this for profit, and talked about his plans to live a "comfy life" off of profits here. Of course, he'll never show you actual logs.
Due to a mismanagement of money, the site almost died. See the above text about him lying about the 3-month notice.
The reason he did not have the money is because he filed for an LLC using DONATION MONEY that was intended for SERVER UPTIME. Not LLCs. He never asked the community about the LLC, he never informed anyone about the LLC until the point that I exposed him ages ago. Do not fall for this kike's lies and use literally any other /mlpol/ board or just use Discord.

I paid for the LLC with my own money, later when I went to pay for the site after the patreon got shoah'd I thought I had used the funds from the site donations and panicked, I spent several hours trying to figure out how to keep the site up before realizing it was in a different account
at the time I had three accounts, one for my job, a personal account, and an account with my fiance, I had the money sent to my personal account and paid for the llc off my pay card from my job, thinking I had paid for it with the other money I panicked
I however found the money still in my personal account, having forgotten where it was, I found it within hours and thus never made a post about it because the donation money was still there, that money has now been spent to pay for the website.
I love how you are not posting the chat logs where I said "oh thank god I found it, it was in a different account lol"

Underneath all of this seems to be Atlas' overwhelming concern about the site's financial future. Perhaps you should share this concern more with the community and make it a community effort to solve? Perhaps carrying the burden alone is unbalancing you emotionally which affects judgement?
How about a mlpol.net finances thread in /qa/ and all ins and outs are noted, lets say, weekly? Even when no transactions so we see the openness is still happening. How about strict mlpol.net account and no transfers touching your private accounts? How about in the same /qa/ finances thread, or another, you have a weekly "fireside chat" thread about your thoughts, plans, ideas, concerns, etc. Many brains are better than one. The Admin/Moderator, isolated from our community, communications leads to a disconnect from the community where problems can fester unseen by the community. Perhaps these Admin/Moderator chats should be accessible by the community or even moved to a administration board here on mlpol.net. Community oversight might remove a large amount of future conflicts as issues would be openly discussed much earlier. Perhaps even this could be expanded to a voting system to remove/promote staff. Democracy by the community.

- a former mod from 8chan deleted threads of another mod (Lotus)
- the former mod claims he did it to expose security leaks on the website
- Atlas lost money when patreon banned him (about ~80 Dollars)
- Atlas lied about the server mlpol server being paid for (for a brief period)
- The server itself is currently adequately paid for
- Atlas was somewhat of a 4chan newfag and only experienced /pol/ during the Trump pre-election era
- There are ongoing arguments in the administration about how mlpol should be moderated
- Some Mods seemingly have little 4chan experience
- Atlas bougth software for the server that is argueably not required
- The current overall site security is in a poor state
- the head moderator -now administrator- Lotus is disliked by other staff, was briefly fired
- Lotus finds racism distateful and advocates for homosexual pornography
- The funding management was not transparent
I said that before and I say again that I'd like to believe that MLPOL is a self governing body. It is the users business to decide what they want to discuss and what they want to post on the site, nobody elses. The Admins and the mods are by extension supposed to be represents of the will of site users, nothing more, nothing less.
There is no need in pushing a policy, We, the Anons, can do that by ourselves. For the sake of solving most of these current problems, I propose that Alas hires a
competent System Administrator or picks one from the current staff to take care of the technical needs of the site, under supervision hopefully to prevent any attempts at sabotage.
Secondly I recommend that Atlas elects 2 represents from the Anons as
commissary advisors . 2 users with a long track record for /pol/ and /mlp/, to judge and execute an order within the mod staff that would be in line with the heritage of our old homeboards. These Anons should not be mods, but intermediates between the users and the anons, and to keep an eye on the doings of the mod staff.
MLPOL.net was bound to have a situation like this, it was inevitable. And there will be more. And frankly, this is good. Because the average user gets to take a look behind the curtains. I was one of the first users on this site asking for a FAQ at the time the infamous "Your a dick" post was made and I want to say, it is both remarkable and pleasant to what the site has grown in such little time with minimal support and funds. For that I thank You. The We as a community and You, as the Administration.
Doing a good job does however not mean that it is now time to slack off, there is always space for improvement.
