If you want proof that “the skeptic community” or “rational” egalitarians aren’t above making ad-hominem attacks, just look at how they react to MGTOW.
Egalitarian/skeptic argument against MGTOW is essentially like this: A guy once held his hand over a fire, and it burned him, so he pulled his hand away, but that guy once said that the world is flat, therefore everyone who pulls their hand away from a fire must be an insane flat earther.
And if some egalitarian says they’re not against MGTOW, here comes the other egalitarians to say “you must be an insane flat earther too! You’re not allowed in our egalitarian community where we want equal rights for all people!”
