Part three - Question about divorce and child support

Hi, I know absolutely nothing about the law so I just want to ask a question here about divorce and child support so I can know the correct course of action. So basically I'm probably going to be leaving my husband soon. We have a 7 months old daughter. I've been supporting the family over the last 4 months, since my husband lost his job and decided to take care of the baby. I make a low amount of money and I have also given notice to quit my job for personal reasons, so i will have no income for a while. My husband on the other hand had a very good career making six figures before he lost his job. I do not want to have primary custody of my daughter if we get divorced, so it is my understanding that I will have to pay child support because of that? But I will also have no income and I can't even support her properly with the amount of money I can make. Lastly, can I have no custody of the child, and will that change the child support laws? So what will happen here if we get divorced? Oh and I live in Georgia.

The judge is going to look at your morals, and base his decision for child support on that, so you better get used to it cupcake.

There is a reason why men who cheat pay higher child support over men that divorce for any other reason, this tactic that you came up with is old, tired, and nothing new. The courts have seen it, they know what it looks like, they'll see right through it.

Just grab a mirror and tell yourself that you are a horrible human being, and your future husband will have just as much respect for your marriage with him, as he has for the one you are currently in.

Why would you ever consider having more children if they mean nothing to you? Aren't you causing enough pain already?
