Thanks. I consulted a lot of sources for this one, including bourgeois media to condemn those who hate the DPRK and there's a lot of those people unfortunately.

Enjoyed reading this, hard to trust any article on DPRK but very convincing and backed up, changed my opinion on a few things so thanks.

so what really killed him in the end, i think the article was kind of vague. was it neglect?

As the writer of the article I'll field that question. I'd say that he was killed by factors not yet known. He was in a coma and had health complications but the DPRK treated him the whole way. So, either he contracted an unknown disease or even more malevolently, the CIA (or other service) infected him with something so he would die. I would not put that past the CIA since they might know how it would play in the bourgeois media and further isolate the DPRK. In sum, the DPRK would not have killed him as that would increase pressure on the country which they want to remove. Saying it is neglect seems to take away from the healthcare system they have there and could easily align with imperial propaganda, so it is not a suggestion which should be entertained.
